Wraparound Childcare
St. Andrew's is happy to provide extended care for pupils outside of normal school hours, when required by parents/guardians. Both the Breakfast Club and After-School Childcare are staffed by members of our current school staff team and so there is consistency and familiarity for the children.
Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club is open every day from 7.35am until the start of lessons. The children are provided with a wide range of healthy food choices, including cereals, toast, yoghurts and fruit. Please note, children are welcome to join the session at any time, but we are unable to serve breakfast after 8.20am.
Breakfast Club is available to all children at school at a cost of £3.00 per child per session. Parents can pre-book sessions online via the ParentPay app.
After-School Childcare
After-school childcare starts at 3.15pm and ends at 5.50pm. Parents have the flexibility to book sessions on the ParentPay app as follows;
Session 1: 3.15p.m to 4.30p.m. – the cost for this shorter session is £5.00. Please collect your child(ren) promptly by 4.30p.m to avoid being charged for a full session.
Session 2: 3.15 p.m. to 5.50 p.m. – the cost of this full session is £10.00. Please collect your child(ren) promptly to avoid being charged a late fee.
- Parents must complete a registration form for all children attending after-school childcare for the first time (see the link below). A copy is available from the school office.

- Children attending after-school childcare are provided with a light snack and drink – prepared in advance by our catering team. Children can choose from a range of activities, for example, craft, model making, quiet reading, playing with toys and games, playing outdoors with scooters, bikes and sports equipment. From time to time, children have the opportunity to watch some television, play educational games on Chromebooks or try activities such as baking.
