  • St Andrew's Day

On Friday 28th November we had a special whole school assembly to celebrate St Andrew's Day. All classes contributed to the service in different ways.

Year 1 and 2 sang and danced to a lively version of 'When the saints go marching in'. They also shared some of the qualities that St Andrew was well known for. Year 6 (who are very talented at choral speaking) performed a poem about St Andrew and Year 5 finished the service with prayers.

Year 3 made beautiful fish to represent Andrew the fisherman and shared how Jesus chose him to be a disciple.

Year 4 created stunning portraits of St Andrew. They shared a range of interesting facts about his life.
