  • The dawn chorus at Beaford!

    Thu 14 Mar 2013
    Morning everyone!
So, the birds were singing at 6.30 a.m. and I don't mean the feathered variety! Some children were dressed and ready for inspection by 6.45 ... such enthusiasm! The sun is shining this morning and we're all looking forward to team building/forest activities and more art work. Everyone is happy, so don't worry - enjoy the peace and quiet! More news later.
  • A weary Beaford update!

    Thu 14 Mar 2013
What a day! We are all shattered -  it's been a jam packed, sunshiny extravaganza. We've created vibrant carnival headdresses and treked over hill and dale. The weather has been phenomenal. The food has been delicious, baked potatoes for lunch and cottage pie tonight. Watch out for our Beaford bellies' when we get back tomorrow!!!
  • Safe arrival at Beaford and a creative, busy day!

    Wed 13 Mar 2013
We arrived safely at 11 o'clock and had a run around and lunch before going to the Michael Brennand Wood exhibition at the Burton Art Gallery in Bideford. His work was amazing and the children had a fantastic afternoon creating the most amazing 3D artwork (which we're bringing back to school!). Back to Beaford for all the fun of unpacking, duvet chaos and room inspections, plus a delicious dinner of homemade pizza and chips followed by flapjack and custard - enjoyed by ALL! Games this evening and the children have just had hot chocolate and a story. Off to bed now for a calm, quiet sleep .....
