  • Beam House 2014

    Sat 21 Jun 2014
Another successful residential trip to Beam House! The children (and staff) had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed their long weekend. We have had reports of excellent behaviour and children who have really challenged themselves to take part in some of the more adventurous activities. We hope you enjoy looking at some of the photographs.
  • Plymouth Symphony Orchestra Visit

    Thu 19 Jun 2014

Some children from our Year 4 class were lucky enough to attend a performance of 'The Spanish Connection' by the Plymouth Symphony Orchestra at the Guildhall yesterday evening. The school was allocated some free tickets by Plymouth Music Accord and children's names were drawn out of a hat.

Miss Lewis and Mrs Pellow accompanied the children and  said their behaviour was 'amazing'. We received lots of comments from members of the public about their excellent conduct at such a special event.
This was a wonderful musical opportunity and we are sure the children will be inspired by their visit.

The children drank lemonade during the interval! Don't they look smart?

  • Centenary Jigsaw-making

    Fri 06 Jun 2014
We were asked to help decorate large pieces of jigsaw that will commemorate the centenary of the amalgamation of the Three Towns of Plymouth, Devonport and East Stonehouse. You may have seen the jigsaw at Drake Circus Shopping Centre during half-term. The children who were chosen did a wonderful job and thoroughly enjoyed their artistic afternoon.
  • Door of Unity Service

    Wed 04 Jun 2014
We were honoured again this year to be involved in the annual Door of Unity Service at St. Andrew’s Church on Tuesday 3rd June. This is a short ceremony held every year to recognise this unique symbol of Anglo-American friendship. Mrs Allchurch was accompanied to the service by smart, sensible children who were nominated by their teachers. They conducted themselves impeccably and were a credit to the school.
