• Table Tennis Success

  Our fabulous table tennis team competed in the English Table Tennis Association National Team Championships in Leicester on 25th March and came runners-up in the Under 11 category (even though they are only 9!). 

  The girls are also to be commended for their excellent conduct during the event - a member of staff from another team contacted St. Andrew's to say he was really impressed with their politeness and team spirit. Wow!

  A massive well done to Chloe, Gypsie, Sofia and Jennylee.

   

  

• Red Nose Day 2017

  The children were invited to come to school dressed in their own clothes today for a £1.00 donation to the Red Nose charity. There were lots of different type noses on display! Thank you for supporting this good cause.

  

• Science Fair

  As part of Science Week, the children visited the Science Fair in the hall this morning. Each class were in charge of a stall and took turns to show other classes what they have been learning this term. All the stalls were interactive and the children had lots of fun learning about bones, electricity, personal fitness, plants, magnets and lots of other science topics. 

  

• Talent Show - 9th March 2017

  Congratulations to the children who took part in this year's Talent Show. We were treated to a wide variety of acts from dancing, singing, saxophone playing to an Indian nursery rhyme! The act chosen to perform again was Alanna, with her rendition of 'Honey, Honey'. Well done, Alanna.

  A huge thanks to Mrs Haywood who works so hard to put the Talent Show together every year and to our judges, Zoe, Oliver and Mrs Johnson.

  We hope everyone enjoyed the special guest act performance by Mr Jago, Mrs Allchurch and Mrs Haywood - it was hilarious!

  As usual, the costumes that the children are wearing are amazing! Thank you to everyone for all your efforts in making this such a special day. There was a World Book Day assembly this morning and a Book Bring and Buy sale this afternoon.
