  We have been so lucky to welcome Team GB Paralympian, David Hill to our school today. We are sure all the children have been inspired by his visit. They all had great fun during the sponsored circuit training this morning!

  

• Clarinet Club Performance

  We are very proud of our Clarinet Club who performed in front of the crowds who were in the city centre on Thursday 13th November to watch the Christmas lights being switched on. They were accompanied by Helen, their clarinet teacher and Miss Lewis. The children played a variety of Christmas tunes and thoroughly enjoyed being on stage!

  

• Children in Need Day and The Big Crib Project

  Today we have been helping to raise money for Children in Need by wearing something SPOTTY to school in exchange for a £1.00 donation. We have also been helping to create a giant angel as part of The Big Crib Project where we join other schools to make a huge Nativity scene which will be displayed in St. Andrew's Church over the Christmas period.

   

  Mrs Haywood has done a marvellous job in organising the Big Crib Project. Thanks to Enid and Jen for their valuable help this morning. They must be covered in glitter and white feathers!
