  • Kianna meets Princess Anne

    You may have seen Kianna and Mrs Allchurch on the local news last night! They were invited to meet Princess Anne at the Genesis Building Centre in Union Street.
  • Summer Fair

    Fri 26 Jun 2015

    Friday 3rd July 2.30pm-4.30pm. There will be outside traders selling a variety of wonderful products and treatment. Tombola, toys, books, cakes and refreshments and lots of fun games organised by our brilliant Year 6 children. Look out for a special royal guest from Arundelle (you may need to wear something warm or you'll feel Frozen!).

    The adventure continues...

     

    We had an action packed morning of abseiling, climbing, biking and shooting.

    Before heading to the beach and hitting the surf !

     

    More photos to follow later - we're off to the woods for a campfire, singsong and marshmallows.

    What a wonderful day...

     

    All the children have enjoyed a wide variety of exciting and challenging activities today. 

     

    There hasn't been any rain and the sun has even made the odd appearance.

    Fantastic food continues to be served and the children have not stopped running around and enjoying themselves.

    We have all tested our courage on the Zip wire and trapeze.

     

    Others have fired a rifle or shot an arrow.

     

    Some have survived in the woods or set out on a mountain bike trail.

    We've arrived !!!!

    The children have all arrived safely to Beam House.

     

    We'll keep you updated each night with all the activities of the day.

     

    A recce of the site, a splendid meal and some wacky races have just been the start of the adventure ahead.

  • Absolute Recycling Competition

    A few weeks ago children from Foundation, Year 2 and Year 4 entered a recycling competition. A company called Absolute Recycling had asked us to design a poster all about recycling for their boardroom. Today Mr Hawkins came to announce the winning design. Iulia Pop in Year 2 was the winner and was presented with a brand new iPad mini! All the children who entered the competition received certificates which were presented by Mr Hawkins. A group photo is going to be in the Evening Herald soon so keep your eyes peeled! 
  • International Sports Day 2015

    Thank you for joining us at our International-themed Sports Day yesterday. It was lovely to see so many families supporting their teams. A huge well done to all our older children who looked after and
    encouraged the younger pupils all day. You did a great job.

     

    The winning team was New Zealand

    The runner-up team was Wales

    The team in third place was Iceland

    Congratulations to everyone who took part and made it a very special day.
     

  • Door of Unity Service 2015

    Members of our school council represented the us at the annual Door of Unity Service at St. Andrew's Church today. The service is held every year to recognise Anglo-American friendship. 

     

    Unlike last year, the weather was not particularly kind today, however the children withstood the wind
    and rain beautifully! Well done.

  • Non Pupil Day

    The school will be closed to pupils on Monday 1st June. We are looking forward to welcoming the children back on Tuesday 2nd June.
