Love letters
The Willow Pattern story book has inspired the class to write some amazing letters. They are between Chang and Koong-shee, the two protagonists long to be together, but are separated because of the controlling mandarin.
What makes us wonder and marvel?
The class wrote some fantastic pieces about what has been awesome and awe-inpsiring in their lives. They used the Chromebooks to write and edit their work on Google Doc's Here are some examples.
Year 6 have recently created some unique and personalised porthole views of space. Inspired by the astronomical and fantasy artist David A. Hardy, Year 6 have perfected drawing spheres and experimented painting planets in order to compose a view, incorporating depth, perspective and source of light - all mounted on a recycled vinyl record with a metallic cardboard border.
