St Andrew's Super Science Week!

The children have been involved in a range of fantastic science activities this week to support 'National Science Week.' Each class took part in 'Silly Science' activities in their own classrooms.

They had a fabulous assembly about careers involving science. Jennifer Skinner from SAHFOS (based in the Marine Biological Association) came into to discuss her role involving the ocean's plankton. Ali Hood, from the Shark Trust shared some amazing facts about sharks and introduced a shark detective hunt for the children!

The whole school met in the hall today to observe the eclipse from the safety of indoors. What a fabulous experience!

We concluded our Science Week by having a whole school science fair in the hall. Each class was responsible for providing a science station of learning for each class to visit. A fun, stimulating and motivating morning had by all.
