The children have been treated to a production of 'Snow White' by students from Plymouth City College today. It was a very professional performance and the children were thoroughly entertained.
Many thanks to City College,
Well done to all the children in Foundation for their first assembly at St. Andrew's school. They were so confident and happy and we were all very impressed.
They sang a song about Noah's Ark, retold the 'Little Red Hen' story, sang a song about shapes and showed off the wonderful poppies they have been making. They also introduced us to their cyber-pet, Technology Turtle. Phew!
Congratulations to Mrs McCulloch who was a finalist in CaterEd's Kitchen Manager of the Year! She was presented with a certificate and a lovely glass memento.
Congratulations to the athletics team who came 3rd in the indoor athletics event at the Life Centre.
The children were invited to come to school today dressed as their class digital pet mascots for Internet Safety Day. They have adopted these cyber pets in order to continue the message of online safety.
Mr Stonebridge held a special assembly this morning to introduce the pets and to re-enforce our SMART rules. He also announced the members of our new Cyber Squad - pupils who put themselves forward to attend meetings throughout the year and discuss how to keep us all safe whilst using the internet.
Check out our e-safety page on our website for the epic digital mascot film produced by
Mr Stonebridge!
