Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
We are having a very sporty time at St. Andrew's today! The children have been enjoying the fresh air and lovely sunshine. 14 children from Year 4 and 5 competed in a golf festival at Central Park and
our Year 6 class have been having a special post-SATs treat - a sports coach who has been teaching them ultimate frisbee, lacrosse and athletic skills.
The Foundation class have been having a mini-Sports Day with help from our Sports Council.
We were honoured to have a visit from Rodney Munday, an artist who is currently working on a sculpture on the pillars outside St. Andrew's Church. Rodney worked with the children in Year 5 this morning and inspired them to make their own works of art out of clay.
We have all had a great time so far, and have managed to connect to the internet briefly to write this message. We had an action packed first day filled with scavenger hunts, team building activities, a falconry display and a night hike. We're looking forward to our bushcraft morning, swamp walk this afternoon and a good old camp fire this evening.
